In response to Louie's question today about taking up my cross, this is what it looks like for me right now: 1)Living and loving through the monotony of my daily grind. 2)Contentedness. 3)Doing the little things with passion.ie., showing up to work on time, leaving on time, proper treatment of others at the cost of my pride and self dignity, opposing the popular vote when necessary (being/acting on what God has placed in me and created my values to be).
These are just off the top of my head for now. I look forward to pondering this stuff. That's the kind of stuff I enjoy.

Recently heard Rich Mullens talking on an old WOW CD where he said sometimes at concerts people say "Wow Rich, the spirit really moved." Rich went on to say that's great to have an experience but the spirit really moves when you are folding laundry or doing the practical things in life. True true
